general

I tried to operate between 10 and 40 meters in CW, SSB and RTTY. For my luck the bands were just in that times opened, when it was too hot for the beach or my dear wife was reading or tired. So I had nearly 1300 QSOs but I didn't reach DXCC qualification.
There were a lot of nice contacts (Eric, ZS6ME and others) but as well it was sometime very crowded in the pile-pus.
Surprises were contacts to BY, ST, YI and D2 - areas, I never have heard in my long amateuer radio time. All in one it was a very nice time on the Island of Mauritius.
